Grace Giving is part of the Social Responsibility expression of Every Nation Somerset West and is an extension of the church’s benevolence fund. Our purpose is to gather and distribute food in our local communities and informal settlements.  Grace Giving is under the executive oversight of Helena Smith, Susie Erwin, and Thabisa Mdolomba.

Grace Giving aims to serve the communities of Zola, Khayelitsha, and Sir Lowry’s Pass working directly with leaders in those communities, to reach those beneficiaries that are most in need.  Our goal is to not only meet a tangible need, but to also establish and build healthy discipleship relationships between the beneficiaries and the local church.

Grace Giving is a generosity-based initiative that is sustained through financial donations which are used for the purchase of food and hygienic needs, through donations of goods in kind (based on GG specific needs listing), through volunteers that help with the sourcing and distributing the food.

Currently Grace Giving is sharing with the local communities through: Food parcel deliveries and soup kitchen supplies and service.

For more information or to get involved, please contact Helena Smith at helena@ensw.org or Susie Erwin at susie@ensw.org.

Grace Giving is such a great ministry….having been part of the giving of food to those in need really warms my heart and show the Love of Christ in such a tangible way.  Keep up the Good work.
