The rain luckily stayed away on Saturday, as ENSW, along with a team from EN Zola, headed out into the community for the Just One Outreach. Just by making an appearance, our multicultural team, a sight not normally seen in Zola, caused quite a stir.

Then we caused more disruption by praying for people and sharing the good news about Jesus. This was not a bad disruption though, rather one that was life changing for many people that the team met. Teams, including kids, went out to shebeens, stalls and homes, speaking to people, breaking down cultural barriers and demonstrating the love of God to them.

On Sunday morning, ENSW had the honour to co-host an open air service with 4 other Every Nation Churches, at Solomon Qatyana Primary School, in Asanda Village.

Close to 200 people from ENSW, EN Zola, EN Khayelitsha, EN Baxter, and In Focus Church (EN USA) along with members from the community of Zola braved the wind, the chilly temperatures, and the threat of rain to praise and worship the Lord together!

All who gathered were privileged to a morning of powerful worship and strong encouragement from our hosts:  Anthony Geard (ENSW), Karla Garrard (In Focus, US), Ps. Linda Mdolomba (EN Zola) and Ps. Joy Jele (EN Khayelitsha).  It was a beautiful picture of the Kingdom of Heaven as the Lord’s people came together in unity, all for His Name Sake.  What a great way to close out a weekend of spirit-empowered ministry!

As we plan into 2020, we are looking forward to more opportunities for our churches to minister together.  Be watching for more information to come your way!
